Copyright and DMCA Policy

How to report alleged infringement involving study content, generated flashcards, notes, decks, prompts, and other user-submitted material.

Last updated: 2026-05-31

Overview

MCAT Prep Academy respects intellectual-property rights. Users must not upload, paste, transform, share, or redistribute third-party MCAT prep books, question banks, passages, explanations, images, or other materials unless they have the rights needed to do so.

Copyright agent and IP contact

Send copyright, DMCA, trademark, or other IP complaints to vatsinllc@gmail.com. Include “Copyright Notice” or “DMCA Notice” in the subject line when possible.

Notice requirements

To help us evaluate a takedown request, include:

  • Your name, organization if applicable, email, and mailing address.
  • A description of the copyrighted work or IP right at issue.
  • The specific MCAT Prep Academy URL, account surface, deck, flashcard, note, prompt, AI output, or other material you believe is infringing.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, agent, or law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Review, preservation, and removal workflow

When we receive a facially complete notice, we may preserve relevant records, temporarily disable access to the reported user-generated material, notify the affected user when appropriate, and log the action for audit purposes. We may reject incomplete, abusive, or clearly non-IP notices and may ask for more information before taking action.

Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, contact vatsinllc@gmail.com with a counter-notice that identifies the removed material, explains why you believe removal was mistaken, provides your contact information, includes a consent to the appropriate jurisdiction where required by law, and includes your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat-infringer policy

We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe or repeatedly submit infringing material, including through generated flashcards, notes, decks, AI prompts, AI outputs, imports, uploads, public shares, or collaboration features.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Privacy requests should use the privacy contact path; content or IP complaints should use the copyright contact above.
